Parish Meeting November 5, 2006

The following resolutions were presented to St. Pauls congregation on November 5, 2006. All
resolutions were voted on and were passed. These resolutions were then presented at the
Diocese of Eau Claire general convention held November 10 - 11. The results of the voting can be found below.

The comments from the Diocese surrounding the above resolutions are found below:

"Four of the five resolutions were defeated by written ballot after spirited, wellmannered discussion and debate reflecting the unwillingness
of the Diocese to adopt policy statements of a theological nature in contridiction to standard Anglican teaching with respect to Scripture, Tradition and Reason as well as on items perceived to be redundant, out of local competence, and forestalling prematurely the tensioned debate currently underway amoungst Anglicans world-wide. One of the four resolutions on the lordship of Jesus was approved."
